Rangpur Newspapers and Online News Portals. The Rangpur Daily is a Bangladeshi newspaper published in the city of Rangpur, Bangladesh. The newspaper is the oldest surviving daily newspaper in the country. It was founded on December 10, 1882 by Syed Muhammad Ismail and has been published continuously since then.

The first online news portal in Bangladesh was bdnews24.com which was launched on September 28, 2001 by National Press Trust Ltd., a government-owned media company.
